The Porsche Taycan debuted in 2020 as a prestigious, high-performance sedan. The 2025 Taycan is included in the model’s first generation, and it introduces a few updates for you to explore and enjoy.
In 2025, the Porsche Taycan shows off updated styling with improvements to the front and rear lights and fenders. This all-electric sedan continues to have a road-hugging stance with a sweeping, athletic profile and brilliantly accented sides. The nose continues to be rounded and defined, and the bumper has an open-concept look with deeply set air intakes. The headlights continue to have a quad LED light concept, and these four elements are displayed in a reshaped unit.
The Taycan is rightfully known for delivering the full power and excitement that the brand is known for, and it brings a few improvements to its performance for the 2025 model year. For example, the two battery pack options have been upgraded to deliver faster charging. The Performance battery is also lighter for enhanced handling. In addition, the electric motor that is mounted at the rear is lighter. The lighter weight yields improved handling and a longer battery range.
For drivers who demand superior horsepower from their sport sedan, the all-new Taycan Turbo GT requires a close look. This trim boasts 1,019 horsepower. At the same time, it offers a 340-mile driving range.
There are also improvements inside the 2025 Taycan’s cabin. For the first time, the infotainment system includes Apple CarPlay+. The new tech allows for easier temperature control and enhances route planning. Other features offered in the 2025 Taycan carry forward from the 2024 model. These include forward collision mitigation, a navigation system, heated front and rear seats, a wireless charging pad, lane-keeping assistance, a 16.8-inch curved housing for the infotainment system screen and digital driver’s gauges, multi-color ambient lights, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, a Bose audio system, and more.
