Two iconic Porsche sports cars are the 718 Cayman and the 911. Both offer latest technological features and extraordinary handling. These Porsche models deliver road-hugging performance and neck-snapping acceleration. If you want well-rounded-performance in a sports car, the Cayman and 911 are perfect choices.

The Cayman base engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-4 with 300 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque though either a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic or 6-speed manual to the back wheels. The Cayman S is equipped with a 2.5-liter turbo flat-4 with 350 horses and 209 lb-ft. The Porsche 911 offers seven different engines, the top unit being a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-6 delivering 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, mated to the 7-speed automatic. Both vehicles offer Porsche Torque Vectoring to optimize traction in corners. The 911 shares its electromechanical steering with the Cayman.

The Cayman is a two-seater, whereas the 911 is a 2+2 with a surprisingly functional rear seat. Cayman has a longer wheelbase and is wider, while the 911 is longer, taller and about 300 pounds heavier. Cayman provides wheels in 18- and 19-inch diameters, but the Porsche can be ordered with 20- and 21-inch wheels. The 911 has a larger fuel capacity and a tighter turning diameter. Cayman is a coupe, 911 is available as a coupe or cabriolet.

Both models are equipped with eight airbags, including driver, passenger, driver knee, front head curtain, front knee and front side bags. They also both provide antilock brakes, active stability management, and 4 years/50,000 miles of roadside assistance. Front/rear park assist is standard on the Cayman, as are the low-tire-pressure monitor, LED brake lights, daytime running lights, and headlight washer. Available Cayman features include directionally adaptive headlights, blind spot sensor, cornering lights, adaptive cruise control with Porsche active safety, stolen vehicle tracking, Porsche ceramic composite brakes and lane change assist. The 911 also offers ceramic composite brakes, as well as Dynamic Chassis Control and rear-wheel steering.
