In 2024, the Taycan will build upon the foundation set by the 2023 model year.
Performance
The initial trim level for 2023 and 2024 features a single electric motor powering the rear wheels, generating 321 horsepower. Two battery pack sizes are available. A mid-level, all-electric system with dual motors and all-wheel drive produces 429 horsepower. Two additional configurations, both equipped with a dual-motor system and all-wheel drive, boast outputs of 509 horsepower and 616 horsepower. Certain trims offer mechanical enhancements such as larger brakes, rear-wheel steering, wheel-wheel torque vectoring, customizable drive modes, and an adaptive and sport-tuned suspension, among other features.
Appearance
The 2023 and 2024 Taycan models share a sleek yet sporty design characterized by low ground clearance and muscular arches along the profile. From a side view, one can appreciate smoothly defined fenders and a crisp, descending element crossing the lower door panels. The nose features a low-profile, rounded bumper and a unique interpretation of Porsche’s classic teardrop headlights. On the Taycan, the headlights showcase upper and lower LED ribbons, with black molding extending in two directions. Exterior options may include a panoramic glass roof, adaptive headlights, wheels up to 20 inches, heated side mirrors with an auto-dimming function, and other trim-specific features.
